15,March,2017 (SofoNews) A large delegations led by UK Foreign secretary had today visited in Somalia, by landing Mogadishu international Airport early on Wednesday morning.
Somali government officials welcomed the delegates at the arrival hall, sources from states house say that they have a meeting with the top government officials.
Reliable sources quoted by Somalia Focus say, the main agenda is to cope up with the famine in Somalia that affects millions of Somalia people and how far UK may contributes drought affected areas in Somalia.
They met with Somalia president Mohamed Abdulahi Farmajo as to describe the efforts of UK for participating food Aid scale up operations in Somalia.
It was secret visit and many people known only when they have landed at Mogadishu Airport, and it is first leg of Boris Johnson as UK foreign secretary.
The issue of both is also including UK’s invitation to Somali government for attending a conference suppose to be held in London on May 2017, which partly is about Somalia issues.
