Arab League (AL) has welcomed the ceasefire agreement in Somalia under auspices of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The official spokesman for Secretary General of Arab League confirmed that this agreement is a positive step to install the pillars of security and stability in Somalia.
He praised the efforts made by the UAE to sponsor negotiations, which resulted in reaching the agreement.
Although both sides have agreed to stop the fighting and negotiate for what they want, reports say the conflict still continues in Galkacyo town of Mudug region.
Hundreds of civilians have fled from the town seeking refuge and a safe place.
